First, my little watercolor/ink drawing did, in fact, not sell at the auction I wrote about. I can’t say that I’m surprised, but it still kind of sucks. I would like, however, to send it to the first person who displays interest in having it on this blog. Send me a comment letting me know you’re interested, and I’ll ship it off to you. But it’s got to be in the U.S. cause I don’t have much money to ship.
Second, it’s true… I did get a small blogging job for the Baltimore Examiner, writing about the vast and endlessly entertaining and thought-provoking (for me, anyway) subject of FOOD. Like I said, I get paid for this food blog, and I’m assuming it’s from clicking on the individual posts, so pile on the clicks. Every day. Maybe it’ll add up to be enough money for me to go buy a new digital camera since Camera Morte seems to be ever-present of late. Don’t worry, I won’t get rid of my good friend CM, but it would also be nice to take some normal pictures.
Finally, please forgive me for any redundancy in the two blogs. I’ll try hard not to steal ideas from this one, but I only gots so much creativity in me, so I might have to occasionally appropriate from myself. How very post-post-post modern.
who wouldn’t want the shark painting? i will even pay for postage. if i could afford it, i would pay for it to be hand-delivered and installed by the artist. alas.
well, you, mara, are the first response to my dangling of free FRAMED fine art, and as a result, you will get the shark painting. i will say that i am eternally grateful for your continued support and friendship and i truly hope you enjoy sharkie. no postage needed!
