While I Still Have 9 Minutes…

Today was miraculous. Went to a good friend’s apartment where there were no children and no responsibilities, got my legs waxed (good friend is a professional esthetician), drank bitter cherry/pomegranate juice mixed with water, walked around in the incredible cloudless, cool, sunny weather. We had food at the City Cafe, which is a Baltimore institution located in Mt. Vernon, chock full of extremely well-groomed and handsome waiters. I got a Chopped Cobb salad, which was excellent, and my pal went for a rare cheeseburger and fries, with a side of steamed broccoli. Which was surprisingly bright green and delicious. We found our way to some soy lattes on the way to some quality time with the nebulae exhibit at The Walters Museum. I feel small and insignificant, and I think I like it. Battlestar Gallactica is right on. We returned to her apartment, drank more cherry water and worked on our blogs and digital photos.

I returned home afterwards, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed the entire house, did four loads of laundry, bathed my darling dirty babies and put them to bed. Then hubby and I ate turkey sandwiches, watched the most recent episode of BG, drank two delicious beers and here I am. Time to go nighty-nite.
