The best tree in Baltimore has finally bloomed. It usually does so the same time every year, late April. The year my husband and I got married I was hoping it would have held its bloom a little longer for all the out of town guests dropping by, but by May 10th, it had rained down its light fuscia, crepe paper petals. When the tree sheds the entire neighborhood and every other neighborhood that houses these trees turns pink and heavenly. I might not like it as much as I do if it lasted all year. But it only lasts a few weeks, so my love continues.
