Okay, so there’s this artist award that has appeared for Baltimore artists called The Baker Artist Awards. You can nominate yourself and beg your friends and whoever else to vote for you and then you have a chance to get an award. You have to register on the site, sorry, I know this is annoying. At least it doesn’t cost anything.
I could really use some arts funding (who couldn’t?!). I would especially like to get CameraMorte out there in the world, make some humongo prints of the photos, show them somewhere where they could be appreciated and also have the ability to print out some copies of the CameraMorte photo book I’m currently working on. This all takes money. And I don’t have any extra money for support of my artistic whims, hence, I beckon you, dear reader. Vote for me — NO — VOTE FOR CAMERAMORTE. It isn’t really about me.

Maybe, but the NEA isn’t exactly knocking down my door, and arts grants are even harder to come by these days than they were before our economy went to total crap. I’ll take what I can get. I know there are only a few of you out there, only occasionally checking this blog for scintillating details about poo poo and napless afternoons, and I appreciate each and every one of you.
